Company Pension

You are eligible to join the Company pension scheme at the start of your employment.

Entry level into the scheme is an employee contribution of 3% of salary and employer contribution of 4% of salary. The Company will match additional employee contributions above the minimum required to a maximum of an additional 3%. Salary Exchange option is in place and can be used to further enhance the benefit through national insurance savings.

 

Annual Leave Entitlement

Annual leave is 25 days of which some must be kept for the Christmas shutdown and this can be up to 5 days. Upon the 10th anniversary of joining OEC UK employees will receive one additional day leave bringing the total (excluding public holidays) to 26 days for full time employees. On the 20th anniversary of joining OEC UK will receive another additional day bringing the total (excluding public holidays) to 27. Part time employees will benefit from a pro-rata increase.

 

Holiday Trading

This concession allows up to 5 additional leave days to be taken in any holiday year through a salary exchange arrangement. Each additional days leave will be calculated as 1/260th of annual salary for a full time employee and pro-rata for part time employees. Normal rules apply in seeking management approval for such leave.

 

Group Life Assurance

This is only applicable to all employees and is two times annual salary.

 

Childcare Vouchers

These are provided by Faircare and can be managed through the Faircare portal.


Cycle to Work Scheme

This is provided by Faircare and can be managed through the Faircare Portal

 

Corporate Health Plan via payroll

This is provided by Paycare and can be managed through the Faircare Portal at your expense.

 

Medical Screening

This is provided by BUPA through the Faircare Portal and is a salary sacrifice option at your expense.

 

Faircare Platform

This provides access to discount vouchers and cashback schemes. Once employment has commenced you will be given a unique login to access this portal.

 

Social Club

This is run by employees for a small contribution you are eligible for free or discounted access to trips they organise. For an additional small contribution you can gain access to the Gym equipment which is in the basement of the old building.

 

Finders Fee

£500 paid to employee on offer of employment and £750 12 months later if still employed.
