What is LinkIQ?

LinkIQ is the market’s most comprehensive parts performance monitoring solution providing Parts Departments with actionable insights to increase OE Parts sales.

Why should I enroll in LinkIQ?

How do I get to LinkIQ?

LinkIQ is easily accessible within the OEC portal, which you may already be familiar with if you have any OEC solutions. It is a tab within OEC.


How much does LinkIQ cost?

Cost for LinkIQ varies based on what you are looking for. Please contact us below and let us know if you are looking for LinkIQ with or without DMS integration.


What solutions or programs does LinkIQ work with?

LinkIQ works with CollisionLink, RepairLink, D2DLink, D2DLink Express, Marketplace Direct and it also integrates with common DMS systems.


Why is this not included already?

LinkIQ provides in-depth analysis that may not be suitable for everyone. What’s great about LinkIQ is the more OEC solutions you have, the more useful and impactful LinkIQ can be on your parts business.


How do I set up LinkIQ?

Set-up with LinkIQ is easy. If enrolling with DMS integration, you must authorize OEC to access your Parts Sales invoice data from your DMS provider. OEC will provide you with instructions based on the DMS provider you have and once authorization is granted, LinkIQ access will be granted.

If enrolling without DMS integration, LinkIQ access will be granted within 24 hours after enrollment. 

In either case, you will be contacted by our Customer Success team to further review the capabilities of LinkIQ as well as answer any questions you may have.


How long does it take to set up LinkIQ?

If enrolling with DMS integration, you must authorize OEC to access your Parts Sales invoice data from your DMS provider. The process for the dealership to provide OEC authorization is less than 5 minutes.  Typically the Controller or Fixed Operations Manager has the ability to authorize OEC access. After you authorization has been granted to OEC, LinkIQ access will be granted within 3 business days.

If enrolling without DMS integration, LinkIQ access will be granted within 24 hours of enrolling.


What is the difference between LinkIQ and Dealer Metrics?

Dealer metrics provides a high-level understanding of your parts business within OEC and is provided to all dealers using any OEC solution. LinkIQ provides a detailed understanding of your parts business by offering drill-down capabilities to help you better understand the dynamics of your business at a holistic or customer-specific level, along with DMS-specific details and extensive reporting capabilities.

Will this interrupt or change the reports I already have set up with CollisionLink, RepairLink, etc.?

LinkIQ reporting will remain separate from existing reporting in CollisionLink and RepairLink.  Dealer Metrics and LinkIQ will become the main sources of reporting throughout 2018.


Can I get the LinkIQ reports emailed to me?

Not yet, but soon! This capability is targeted for release in Q2 2018.

What formats do the reports come in?

Reports can be saved in both .CSV and Excel file formats. Dashboards can be printed directly from OEC by right-clicking on the dashboard and selecting ‘Print.'  You can then save the dashboard as a .PDF or send directly to the printer of your choice.

How often can I get reports generated?

Reports can be generated as often as you would like.

Will LinkIQ work with CollisionLink?

Yes. LinkIQ  is specifically designed to take your CollisionLink data along with your parts data, OEM and DMS data to provide detail-rich analytics related to total parts performance AND collision performance. It also includes:

  • Product Mix Sales/Trends, Aftermarket Conversions, Parts Program Performance, Reimbursement, and Shop Adoption / Usage
  • Sales Mix and Trends, Shop Behavior, Reimbursement, Shop Adoption / Usage, and Order Turnaround Times

Will LinkIQ work with RepairLink?

Yes. LinkIQ  is specifically designed to take your RepairLink data along with your parts data, OEM and DMS data to provide detail-rich analytics related to total parts performance AND mechanical performance. 

 
What do I do with these analytics?

The main goal of LinkIQ is to provide you with opportunities to increase your parts sales. LinkIQ takes your data to create modern, easy-to-use dashboards and reports that allows you to monitor department performance and provide step-by-step guidance to make adjustments to increase parts sales.
