OEC Provides Navistar With Parts Ordering Solution, Expands in Commercial Market

RepairLink allows Navistar to provide online OEM parts ordering to its International® heavy-duty truck and IC Bus customers through ecommerce platform

CLEVELAND, OH, July 31, 2020 – OEConnection LLC (OEC), the leading automotive technology provider for original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) distribution networks, provides Navistar, a producer of International® brand commercial trucks, proprietary diesel engines, and IC Bus brand school and commercial buses, with RepairLink as its online parts ordering platform. Navistar is the first commercial OEM to implement RepairLink, expanding the OEC parts sourcing solutions beyond the automotive market.

Through RepairLink, Navistar leverages its parts data to sell parts online, streamlining the parts sourcing experience for its customers, an ideal solution that meets the growing need to conduct business virtually. Additionally, Navistar and its dealer network offer promotional pricing on OEM parts through various marketing programs, furthering its progressive approach to parts and service platform offerings.

“Navistar has been a loyal customer for a number of years,” said Jon Palazzo, OEC General Manager, Mechanical. “The RepairLink platform puts their OEM parts where the buyers are – online. OEC solutions make it easier for parts buyers and customers to do business with Navistar and their dealer network, as well as to streamline their business, increase productivity at the parts counter, and help sell more parts.”

“Customers have been increasingly ordering parts through ecommerce, and the onset of the global coronavirus pandemic only accelerated that behavior,” said Josef Kory, Senior Vice President, Parts, Navistar. “RepairLink allows us and our dealer network to connect with and serve our customers quickly and meaningfully through comprehensive online interactions.”

OEC partners with 23 OEMs to provide online access to OEM part inventories through RepairLink. Currently, 6,500 active dealerships utilize RepairLink as their online parts sourcing platform.
