About OEC
OEC connects those involved in the vehicle parts and repair ecosystem so they finally have an easier way to get their job done. They get access to the network and data needed to transform selling, sourcing, leasing, managing, billing, and claims.
The OEC Pillars
Too many people get trapped in the endless complexity of the service, maintenance, and repair world, and it’s slowing down everything they do. But when you’re connected to the OEC network, you can finally “see it, reach it, and get it done.”
See it
Access information about inventory, pricing, availability, and more from OEC’s web-based solution. Use detailed reporting tools to better understand your business. And, with logistics technology, follow parts from order to delivery for total visibility and no more confusion.
Reach it
With so many moving parts to keep track of, it can feel like a lost cause to try to find simplicity in your workflow. OEC’s end-to-end solutions connect you with an international network of suppliers, dealers, shops, and customers.
Get it done
You can only be in so many places at once. In an industry where unexpected parts delays, billing issues, and ordering challenges seem inevitable, OEC’s solutions cut through the confusion so you can get back to work.
Strategic relationships
Everything’s easier when everything’s connected. That’s why OEC partners with some of the world’s largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and management system providers to give you the broadest industry network and a streamlined workflow.
Playing Our Part, Right From The Start
Back in 2000, OEMs were facing a huge hurdle selling parts into dealerships, mechanical shops, and collision shops. Every transaction was handled manually, either by phone or fax, which left the market desperate for a faster, more efficient way to do business. That’s when four major auto players – GM, Ford, Chrysler, and Bell & Howell (now Snap-on Business Solutions) – formed OEC. In 2001, we launched CollisionLink, the first e-commerce tool for shops to buy OE parts from dealership suppliers. Shortly afterwards, we launched D2DLink, connecting dealers nationwide and quickly elevating the OEC dealership base from 500 to 10,000. Over the years, we continued to develop and acquire key software solutions to better manage every aspect of maintenance and repair, including aftermarket parts. Today, OEC is how everyone in the vehicle parts and repair lifecycle gets their job done more easily. Suppliers, repairers, manufacturers, insurers, and fleets all use our technology and data services to connect with each other and get vehicles back on the road safely. It’s why so many of the biggest names in the industry all rely on OEC. And it’s how, in just the past year alone, we’ve facilitated over $13B in North American e-commerce and over $30B in global trade. OEC | Now for the easy part™
