Rebecca Smith serves as General Counsel, North America and Corporate Secretary for OEC. Ms. Smith served as Associate General Counsel upon joining OEC in 2018, and as outside counsel for OEC since 2010 as an attorney with Critchfield, Critchfield, & Johnston. Rebecca provides guidance on corporate governance, contract negotiations, compliance matters, software licensing, trademark protection and other legal matters surrounding ecommerce development for OEC.
Ms. Smith holds her Juris Doctorate degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in political science and economics management. Ms. Smith has more than 11 years’ experience practicing corporate law.
